Don't worry, Mashed, it's just "A Social Engineering Experiment."

You remember doing experiments in Chemistry while in the 4th form at school and nobody ever got hurt? Well, the authorities are adamant that this is also just "An experiment", too.

So nothing to be concerned over, then.

Just watch our street crime and rape rates shoot through the roof when they all get in.

Not to mention domestic terrorism.

Every time some evil racist neo-nazi bigot has predicted this sort of thing they've been proven right.

Re: Calais ?

I don't have the answers as unless you were able to interview each of them, no-one has.
Some of the reasons I had heard was that :-
The trip to the UK requires agility and physical ability i.e. hiding within lorries, holding on to lorry axles so it would only attempted by young males.
These chaps have done some of the hard part in getting to mainland Europe.
The easy part is travelling across Europe.
Those up for it (3-6k of the many 100'sk) are willing to risk their health at worst and capture at best by trying to get to the mainland.

As for the families?
Many in the warzones left at the start of the war (4+ years ago)
The men stayed until the last minute working/supporting/fighting then either fled the Assad regime or IS.
They are now trying to join up with their families

Didn't the French recently adopt a policy where any migrant on a French train heading to Calis was allowed to travel free?

Re: Calais ?
Surely if a civil war kicked off you'd imagine it to be women, children, elderly people, the most vulnerable etc. who'd be the ones scrambling to get into another country. In such circumstances then it is our moral duty as human beings to let them in and help them out for as long as possible.

But this is all young men, who are obviously prepared to use violence to get what they want.

Anyone who thinks that them lot at Calais aren't gonna cause some serious problems when they get into the UK is living in a dream land.

"So far not one single leftie has managed to explain why this is"

Imperialism and racism is their usual answer to everything

Socialist Worker:"Racists and right wingers will seek to use these deaths to justify more imperialist interventions and whip up Islamophobia. We must not let them be exploited to give a boost to the far right"

Unite Against Fascism: “We must stand up to such attacks and also the racism and Islamophobia that follows. Don’t let the racists divide us.”

Calais will end up a mini 'islamic state' in France. they will get fenced in and live by their own laws. no fucker will venture in there cos the problem is too big.

Re: Calais ?
The cream of western society: it's leaders, top administrators, policy makers, opinion formers, academics and highly educated "thinkers" have all been done up like a kipper by the Islamics on this matter.

Not only that, PUBLICLY done up like a kipper, and so refined, arrogant and elite are these people, they won't ever admit to that being the case, even though their respective societies must suffer.

Whatever it takes, whatever the cost (to others, naturally) they WILL be proved right, even if there's nobody left to prove it to.

Re: Calais ?
Serious question to all the "let them all in" pro-refugee bods.

Where are all the families?

Why is it all 90% young men?

Honestly if it was women and kids etc. I'd say let them in.

But it's not.

It's all young men, tooled up and ready for a row.

So far not one single leftie has managed to explain why this is.

The tunnel's a nightmare tonight, if anyone's travelling. I drove 1000 miles in 12 hours to Calais then it took 3 to get through border control. Just sitting on the train now.

You'd have to accidentally & deliberately shoot and devour hundreds of thousands of the flea-ridden buggers before you could be sure of getting the cute & loveable speckled one actually carrying the message.

That being said, in the absence of on-site food-banks, there could be a claim to such a policy offering up some localised collateral benefit.
